‘The Mistoria Group’ – one of the UK’s fastest growing property companies reviewing international expansion in Sri Lanka

 Colombo born Mishantha (Mish) Liyanage, Chief Executive Officer of ‘The Mistoria Group’ whose HQ is in Manchester UK, is visiting the Sri Lankan capital to meet with potential business investors as he looks to grow his property portfolio over the next 3 years which could lead to a market listing of his company.

2019 marks the 10th Anniversary of ‘The Mistoria Group’ which has developed into a fast growing property businesses focusing on sales and letting management. Such is the success and growth of his business Mish is now regularly appearing on national TV in the UK on a nationwide property programme called ‘Homes under the Hammer’ and Mistoria is one of the largest providers of student accommodation in the North of England.

‘The Mistoria Group’ turnover is now excess of £15m delivering nett profits of £330k and has over 500 properties with an asset base of over £115m. Employing over 20 staff it also has 50 contractors with a range of outsourcing partners overseas including Sri Lanka.

Mish now believes the time is right to expand Mistoria which will be delivered by acquisitions, mergers or joint venture opportunities whilst the setting up and developing a number of International Offices including Sri Lanka are also part of the company’s future strategy.

Apart from his business success Mish and ‘The Mistoria Group’ have maintained close links with Sri Lanka. The company supports a range of community projects on the island assisting the life saving work of the Meththa Foundation alongside helping to tackle homelessness and working alongside the APSL Scholarship Scheme to help gifted children in Sri Lanka continue their education.
